The BMSAP is currently published by the Société d'Anthropologie de Paris and distributed in open access.

Issues are published twice a year (Vol. N n°1, Vol. N n°2).

The full content of BMSAP issues from 1864 to 2009 is freely available on the Persée and OpenEdition Journals portals. Content from 2010 to 2015 is available on subscription from Springerlink, and from 2016 to 2020 from Lavoisier. 
The issues published by Lavoisier become freely available 24 months after the publication date.

BMSAP issues from 2021 onwards are available free of charge as soon as the scientific content is published on the OpenEdition Journals platform (diamond open access). BMSAP issues are published with a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 4.0 licence; pdf of articles published since issue 33-1 can be reproduced by the authors on any other platform (eg HAL) without asking permission to the journal.
